Although Godric's Hollow is a Muggle village, wizards have long inhabited it - wizards as famous as Godric Gryffindor himself. It is quiet and peaceful, and its residents are generally nice, contented people. Most notably is the World War II tribute in the centre.

England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales. Featuring beautiful countrysides, lively cities, and carrying years of history and culture, the UK provides for numerous getaways from the havoc of the wizarding world - and numerous opportunities to create havoc in the Muggle one.

The rest of the continent lies at your feet. Countries with close alliances to England - France, Germany, Spain, etc; exotic countires - Greece, Italy, Albania, Sicily; eastern and northern Europe such as Russia, Norway, Denmark... have fun.
